A speeding car driven by a minor rammed into an elderly man and other locals on the street, sparking chaos in broad daylight.

The incident took place in Adarsh Nagar of North Delhi district in Delhi, northern India on December 16.

Visuals show the white car suddenly veering to the right and crashing into a man carrying his grandson in his arms. The man, who was walking along the left side of the road, was struck by the speeding vehicle. The car can be seen rushing through the street as the teenage driver loses control, dragging the boy with it and hitting everyone in its path.

According to reports, a 55-year-old man and his seven-year-old grandson were injured after a car, driven by a 17-year-old, rammed into them. Kamra, who fell to the ground, turned to see his grandson trapped under the car’s rear wheels. Following this, a group of people rushed to the scene, stopped the car from reversing, and managed to pull the boy out from beneath the vehicle. The boy sustained serious injuries.

The injured were taken to a nearby hospital by family members, while a police team arrived to analyse the sequence of events leading to the incident.

The police arrested the teenager and seized the car from his possession. Legal action has been initiated against the owner of the vehicle.
