Snake rescued from restroom seat in marathon operation

A snake coiled on a restroom seat was safely rescued after an extensive operation, bringing relief to a distressed family.

The incident took place in the Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh, central India, on December 14.

Visuals show the snake nestled inside the commode as the snake catcher arrives, carefully using a stick to extract it. Once removed, the snake was carried out of the house while the family watched with visible relief. It was then secured in a plastic container and transported to a forested area for release.

According to reports, the snake was discovered in a disused toilet inside the house of Mahesh Kumar Tilwani. Despite several attempts over three to four visits, the snake catcher was initially unable to capture it. After receiving another call, the snake catcher managed to rescue the water snake, ending a week of anxiety for the family.
