Shocking! Women caught shoplifting on camera in southern India
by Ekta ChaubeyIn a startling incident in southern India’s Andhra Pradesh, five women were caught on camera shoplifting in a clothing store.
The incident took place in Kadapa district on August 8.
Visuals showed the women entering the shop and browsing through the clothes as usual. However, two women were seen concealing boxes of clothes inside their sarees while the others provided cover. One woman distracted the salesperson by asking to see more clothes, allowing the others to hide the garments inside their sarees. After some time, all five of them left the shop together.
According to reports, the shopkeeper has complained to the police. The authorities are currently reviewing the CCTV footage of the shop to identify the women, and further investigation is ongoing.
