Shocking! Women attacked by chain snatchers in southern India

by ShravyaIn a distressing incident in southern India’s Telangana two women were targeted by chain snatchers while walking on the road in broad daylight.
The incident took place in front of Mayuri Hotel at Vivekananda Chowk, Shantinagar of Nirmal district on July 23.
Visuals showed assailants on a bike, wearing helmets, snatching three thula gold chains from the women’s necks, causing one of the victims to fall. The incident left onlookers worried. In another set of visuals, the women were seen describing the incident to the locals.
According to reports, the local authorities are investigating the matter. The police are reviewing the CCTV footage to identify the perpetrators.
