Shocking! Three men riding bike plunge into open drainage pit in southern India

The incident took place in the Ondipudur area of Coimbatore district on September 9.
Visuals showed when the three men on the bike stumbled near the open ditch, crashing through unstable barricades and tumbling into the pit. Shocked onlookers quickly rushed to help the victims.
According to reports, two of the men sustained injuries to their hands, while the third suffered hip injuries in the accident. The accident is attributed to two key factors: the violation of traffic rules by the trio, all riding on a single bike, and the instability of the barricades placed at the site. Residents have also expressed concerns about the slow pace of underground sewerage work in the area. The drainage pit was closed within hours of the incident.
