Shocking! Mob creates terror by attacking cars on flooded roads in northern India
In a shocking incident in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh, a mob was seen creating an atmosphere of terror by attacking cars on flooded roads.
The incident took place in Uttar Pradesh, and the video went viral on August 1.
Visuals showed the mob, consisting of dozens of men in knee-deep water, splashing water on cars. They were seen stopping the vehicles and splashing water on the occupants by opening the car doors. Other members of the mob were seen supporting and cheering on their peers, creating an atmosphere of terror and fear among the other residents and passengers.
According to reports, a similar incident occurred near the Taj Hotel in the Gomti Nagar area of Lucknow on July 31, where a woman and her male friend were harassed on a bike on the flooded road. Reportedly, police arrested four individuals identified through CCTV footage and the viral video. A case was registered under different sections, and investigations are ongoing. Authorities promised stern action against the culprits. In response, the government suspended four police officers, including the SHO of Gomti Nagar police station, and reassigned three senior police officials.
