The incident took place in Rewan Sanda Primary Health Center (PHC) in Sitapur and the woman was admitted to hospital on July 21 but the baby was delivered around 5 am on July 22.
Visuals showed the child born with two mouths, four arms, and four legs, while the mother lay next to him, adoring him.
According to reports, 40-year-old Rama Devi from Korianpurva in Kirtapur village, under the Sakran police station area, experienced labor pains late Sunday night. Her family took her to PHC Rewan near Sitapur, where she was admitted. At 5 am, Rama Devi gave birth to a child that left even the doctors astonished. The newborn had two faces, four hands, and four legs, with two bodies joined together.
As news of the extraordinary birth spread, crowds gathered at the hospital, referring to the child as a miracle. However, the child was born with multiple medical complications. Despite the doctors’ best efforts, the child could not survive and passed away within a few hours. The family is in shock from the loss. Doctors explained that the child had an underdeveloped second body attached to the developed one, which contributed to the medical issues.
