Two assailants attacked a driver and a conductor on a bus in central India’s Madhya Pradesh, causing panic among the passengers.

The incident took place in Bhopal city on July 9.

Visuals showed two men entering the bus, and swiftly assaulting the driver. The bus conductor intervened promptly to defend the driver but ended up being severely beaten by the assailants, leaving passengers shocked and distressed.

According to officials, the bus conductor stated, “The individuals, who were intoxicated, boarded the bus immediately after the driver stopped. They proceeded to verbally abuse the driver in front of female passengers and severely assaulted him.”

Reportedly, the bus involved in the incident is authorized by Bhopal City Link Limited and operated by Incubate Soft Tech, Bhopal. The incident occurred on road 413 near Suraj Nagar, where the driver or conductor was beaten in front of women, causing the driver or conductor’s nose to bleed.
