In a shocking development, an 18-year-old girl collapsed and died while dancing at her sister’s wedding in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh.

This incident happened in the Ahmed Nagar area of Meerut on April 27.

Visuals showed the shocking moment when the woman collapsed while dancing. There was an atmosphere of celebration and merriment and several people in the space were gearing up to dance to loud music being played in the background. The victim, dressed in yellow, was identified as Rimsha and along with others,  she started to dance as the song played. After a few seconds, she was seen holding her chest and grabbing onto the hand of a child standing nearby before collapsing and falling down on the ground. The atmosphere of happiness and enjoyment turned one into gloom and sadness in quick time as people rushed to attend to her.

As per a report, she was taken to a hospital for treatment where doctors declared her brought dead. Rimsha was said to have suffered a heart attack which led to her untimely death and as a result, her cousin’s wedding was postponed.
