The team acted swiftly, navigating the strong current to complete the rescue operation successfully.

As the monsoon rains continue to lash Uttarakhand, the rising water levels in rivers have led to several people getting trapped. Swift and decisive action by the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) has proven crucial in saving lives.

In Uttarkashi district, two individuals found themselves stranded in the middle of the river near the Arch Bridge in Chinyalisaur. Early this morning, around 5:30 AM, the SDRF received information about the situation. Upon reaching the site, they observed that the two persons were unable to escape due to the strong current.
