Saints perform hawan for Donald Trump’s victory in upcoming US Presidential election

Ahead of the highly anticipated US presidential election, a unique display of support for Donald Trump took place in northern India’s Delhi as local sadhus and saints gathered to perform a havan (sacred fire ritual) praying for his victory. Mahamandaleshwar Vedamutinand Saraswati led the ceremony, with chants and offerings dedicated to Trump’s success, sparking widespread attention on social media.

 

The incident took place in Delhi on November 3. 

Visuals showed Mahamandaleshwar Saraswati and other devotees can be seen placing saffron cloths and garlands around Trump’s photograph along with chanting slogans for his victory. 

 

As the United States prepares for its presidential election on November 5, support for the candidates is being expressed from all corners of the globe. In Delhi, India, chants of “Vote for Donald Trump” rang out as a group of sadhus performed a havan to pray for his victory. Led by Mahamandaleshwar Vedamutinand Saraswati, the spiritual ceremony included offerings and chants aimed at blessing Trump, who is the Republican candidate.

 

The gathering underscored the attention that the US election has drawn worldwide, with millions awaiting its outcome.

 

According to recent reports, polling surveys show a close race between Trump and his opponent, with some data suggesting Trump may lead in key swing states. The Republican and Democrat parties remain deeply engaged in the final stages of campaigning, as over 24 crore (240 million) American voters are expected to cast their ballots.

 

If Trump is victorious, he will take the oath of office on January 20, marking another four-year presidential term. This cross-continental display of support for Trump reflects the election’s global impact, as people around the world express their preferences and prayers for the candidates.
