The incident took place at Durgapur railway station in Paschim Bardhaman district on April 29.

In the scene, two constables stationed nearby swiftly intervene, reaching out to grab the man’s hand as he teeters dangerously between the platform and the train. The constable’s quick action prevents the man from falling further, ensuring his safety amid the bustling platform.

In a commendable display of vigilance and quick action, RPF officers at Durgapur railway station prevented a potential tragedy when they rescued a passenger who lost balance while attempting to board a moving train. The incident occurred during peak hours, highlighting the dangers of attempting to board or alight from a train in motion.
