In a heart-stopping incident at a Junction in southern India’s Karnataka, an alert Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable saved a man’s life after he fell between the platform and a moving train while attempting to board.

The incident took place at Mangalore Junction, which is located in the city of Mangaluru on August 18.

Visuals showed the man sprinting towards the train as it was departing the station. In his desperate attempt to board the train, he misjudged the distance and fell into the dangerous gap.

M. Raghavan, a head constable of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) stationed at the junction, noticed the man’s fall and immediately sprang into action. With quick thinking and swift reflexes, Raghavan rushed to the scene and pulled the man out just in time, preventing what could have been a fatal accident.

The bravery and prompt response of Raghavan have been widely praised, with many calling him a hero for saving the man’s life. The RPF has once again demonstrated the importance of their role in ensuring the safety of passengers at railway stations.

The video of the incident has gone viral on social media, highlighting the dangers of attempting to board a moving train and the critical need for safety precautions at railway platforms.
