Robbery attempt at southern India temple fails as thief struggles with donation box lock

The incident occurred at Sri Mallikarjuna Bramaramba Temple in Uppal Nallagutta, Hyderabad city on October 16.
Visuals showed the masked thief trying to break into the temple’s donation box using a cutting tool. Despite several attempts, the lock remained intact, and the thief eventually fled the scene. The security footage revealed the suspect’s hasty exit after his failed attempt.
According to reports, the temple chairman immediately filed a complaint with the Uppal police station. Authorities have since registered a case and initiated an investigation. No money was lost, and the temple’s donation box was secured after the incident.
