Robbers spark terror in northern India after looting woman’s gold chain in broad daylight
In a brazen robbery in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh, a woman’s gold chain was stolen in the early morning hours.
The incident took place in the Jankipuram area of Lucknow city on September 11.
Visuals showed the moment as the woman walked on the roadside. Two young men on a bike approached her from behind. The bike stopped about 50 meters away, and one of the men dismounted and followed her. Meanwhile, the biker reversed and stood stationary. The foot rider swiftly approached the woman from behind, yanked the gold chain from her neck, and fled to the waiting bike. Despite the woman’s attempt to pursue, both robbers quickly escaped.
According to reports, Arpit Mishra, the victim’s son, filed a police complaint. He revealed that his mother, Mohini Mishra (56), was out for a morning walk at 5:15 am when the chain was snatched near Naveen Mart.
