Roads turn into rivers amidst torrential rain in northern India
In northern India’s Rajasthan, roads have turned into rivers due to floods caused by heavy rainfall.
The heavy rainfall took place in Bikaner district on June 29.
Visuals showed the dramatic scenes of roads turning into rivers, with vehicles floating and infrastructure being partially submerged. It showed the significant distress and inconvenience caused to commuters and residents due to the flooding.
According to reports, rain will persist in the Jaipur and Bharatpur divisions, with heavy downpours and thunderstorms expected in the next few hours. Some areas may experience very heavy rainfall, while the Kota, Udaipur, Ajmer, and Bikaner divisions are likely to experience thunderstorms over the next few days.
