In a disturbing incident in central India’s Madhya Pradesh, a group of miscreants was caught on video forcing cows into a swollen river, highlighting the increasing cases of cruelty towards cattle in the region.

The incident took place near Bamhour, under a railway bridge, in the Raghuvan area of Satna district on August 27.

Visuals showed the cows struggling to stay afloat against the strong currents of the river as they are violently pushed into the water by several young men. Some of the cows attempted to swim against the current in a desperate bid to save themselves, but the force of the water was too strong, causing many of them to be swept away. As they approached a stop dam, several cows were seen in such a dire state that their legs were visible above the water.

The rising tide of cruelty against cattle in Satna, Madhya Pradesh, has reached alarming levels with a recent case that has shocked the local community. The latest incident occurred in the Raghuvan area near Bamhour, where a group of individuals forcefully herded cows into a dangerously swollen river. The shocking event, which took place on Tuesday evening, was captured on video and has since gone viral on social media.

The fate of the cows remains unknown, and the incident has sparked outrage among animal rights activists and the general public alike. Authorities have yet to determine the identities of the culprits or the motive behind this cruel act.
