Amidst an ongoing heatwave with temperatures soaring above 45 degrees Celsius (113 degrees Fahrenheit), the residents of northern India’s Uttar Pradesh have come up with a creative way to beat the heat.
The incident took place in Gajraula city in Amroha and the news went viral on June 17.
Visuals showed two men bought chole bhature and ate them inside the tractor-cum-swimming pool.
According to reports, families from the Basti area are seen filling a tractor-trolley with water from a submersible pump. They then load it up with children and drive through the city, providing a mobile, makeshift pool to offer some relief from the scorching temperatures.
The scene became even more lively when the group stopped to buy chole bhature, a popular Indian street food, adding a festive touch to their cooling journey. Onlookers watched in amusement and curiosity as the water-filled trolley made its way through the city streets, sparking conversations and smiles.
