In a daring rescue operation, the Fire Station sprung into action after receiving a distress call, informing them of a cow trapped in a drain in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh.
The incident took place at Ghaziabad on May 3.
Visuals showed the rescue team utilized machinery to break the upper part of the drain’s road, creating a passage for the cow to be lifted out easily.
Responding swiftly, the rescue unit rushed to the scene, only to find the helpless animal trapped deep within the drain. Despite immediate efforts, extracting the cow proved to be a challenging task due to the narrow and slippery conditions of the drain.
Realizing the gravity of the situation, the fire rescue unit promptly reached out to the municipal corporation for assistance. With the combined efforts of the municipal corporation’s machinery and the fire brigade’s expertise, a painstaking four-hour-long operation ensued.
Finally, after hours of relentless efforts, the cow was safely lifted out of the drain, unharmed. The successful rescue operation averted any potential harm to the stranded animal, ensuring a happy ending to the ordeal.
