One of the officials was seen trying to cut down a wire of some sort with the help of another who used a flashlight to assist him.
According to a report, the SDRF officials rushed to the spot along with Additional Sub-inspector Mukesh Rawat. They had the necessary equipment for the relief operations and it was learnt that they brought the situation under control. They took out the essential items from inside the shops. Fortunately, there wasn’t any loss of life in this incident. After a lot of effort, they were able to control the fire in these shops and a major accident was averted in the area where many devotees visit for pilgrimage.
