Remarkable! 13-year-old sets world record with millet portrait of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in southern India
In a remarkable achievement in southern India’s Tamil Nadu, a 13-year-old school student set a world record by creating a massive portrait of Prime Minister Narendra Modi using 800 kg of millet.
The incident took place at Velammal School in Chennai city on September 15.
Visuals showed the girl seated on the floor, meticulously creating the massive portrait of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with 800 kg of millet. The footage captured her as she carefully sprinkled and arranged the millets in various colors to complete the artwork. Later, visuals depicted her receiving the world record certificate and medal, with school authorities proudly celebrating her achievement. Additionally, Shekinah was seen sharing her experience and expressing gratitude towards her supportive friends and family.
According to reports, Presley Shekinah, daughter of Pratap Selvam and Sankeerani, hails from Kolpakkam, Chennai. A student of class 8 at Velammal School, Shekinah worked tirelessly for 12 hours, from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm, to complete the 600 square feet portrait using 800 kg of millet. Her remarkable effort was officially recognized by the UNICO World Records, and she was honored by R. Sivaraman, Director of UNICO World Records. The achievement was celebrated by her school administrators, principal, parents, and relatives.
