Rat found in mess food of college in southern India
A shocking incident took place in southern India’s Telangana where a rat was found in the “chutney” of a college mess
The incident took place at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) in Sultanpur, Sangareddy district and it went viral on July 9.
Visuals showed a rat struggling in the dish intended for the college mess. The students seemed distressed amid the unfolding situation.
According to reports, officials from the Food Safety Department of Telangana recently raided a college mess and uncovered numerous violations. They discovered fifteen kilograms of maida flour infested with black beetles, which was subsequently discarded. Additionally, the department reported identifying and discarding twenty-five kilograms of vegetables contaminated with fungus.
