Rainwater leakage in brand new 3rd AC coach attended en route in northern India

Passengers aboard the Gareeb Rath train in northern India’s Rajasthan experienced rainwater leakage in a brand new 3rd AC coach.

The incident took place between Ajmer and Falna stations on June 27.

Visuals showed water was leaking heavily from a coach in the train, creating the appearance of a waterfall cascading inside. The water poured down relentlessly, drenching everything in its path and giving the coach an almost surreal, watery ambiance.

Rainwater leakage was reported in the 3rd AC coach of the Gareeb Rath train number 12215, specifically in the G-12 compartment.

The train was promptly halted before reaching Falna station to address the issue. Maintenance staff attended to the leakage, ensuring that no further issues were reported for the remainder of the journey.

Passengers expressed relief after the swift resolution, with the journey continuing smoothly thereafter.
