Update: Python spotted near temple in central India sparks panic amongst villagers

In a startling incident in central India’s Madhya Pradesh, a massive python was spotted in a residential area near a temple, causing panic among locals.

The incident took place in Pura Khana of Berasia tehsil in Bhopal district on November 2.


Visuals showed the python slithering through the area as locals watched anxiously, using flashlights to track its movements. The massive python was later captured by the forest department team, although it appeared to retaliate, making the rescue challenging. Forest officials skillfully used techniques and sticks to subdue it, while distressed villagers looked on in apprehension.

According to reports, the python was spotted in the evening, causing terror among villagers who immediately notified the forest department. Acting swiftly, a rescue team led by Berasia forest ranger Narendra Chauhan arrived at the scene and successfully rescued the python without delay.
