Python sneaks into central India’s residential area, rescued by snake catcher

In a startling incident in central India’s Madhya Pradesh, a python measuring eight feet slithered into a residential area near a temple, causing a stir among residents.

The incident took place behind the Pandharinath temple of  Rahli city in Sagar district on October 29.

Visuals showed the snake catcher carefully pulling the python from thick bushes where it had entangled itself. The python was later released safely in a forested region, slowly crawling through the undergrowth back into the wild.
According to reports, spotting the python near their homes caused panic among residents, prompting them to inform the forest department. A team arrived with a trained snake catcher, who skillfully captured and relocated the python. After initial efforts, snake catcher Arjun Baba safely caught the young python, estimated to be around eight feet in length. Residents breathed a sigh of relief as the python was moved away. Forest department ranger Kunwar Pratap Singh noted that the python was rescued promptly and released deep in the Kansal Pipariya forest area, ensuring it returned safely to its natural habitat.
