In a recent incident in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh, a procession suffered injuries when a Tazia they were carrying came into contact with a high-tension wire in a farm.

The incident took place in Uttar Pradesh and the video went viral on July 16.

Visuals showed the Tazia being carried by the procession in an open farm field with waist-high crops swaying. The Tazia suddenly contacted a high-tension wire, causing a broken electric pole to collapse. People fell under the Tazia, while a few managed to escape the chaotic scene.

According to reports, there were casualties, however the matter is still under investigation.
