Police rescue monk from well with villagers’ assistance in northern India
In a mysterious turn of events in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh, a monk was rescued after falling into a well under suspicious circumstances.
The incident took place in Kuthaund town of Jalaun district on October 10.
Visuals showed the monk being pulled out of the well with the help of locals and the police. His hands, which were bound with rope, were untied after the successful rescue.
According to reports, upon receiving information, Kuthaund police station immediately responded. With the assistance of the fire service and local villagers, the monk was safely retrieved and rushed to the hospital for treatment. Authorities are investigating the incident, and further action is currently underway.
