Police rescue drunken man trapped in drain pipe in northern India
Timely work by the cop rescued a man, under the influence of alcohol, who was trapped inside a drain pipe in front of a temple in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh.
The incident took place in the Kulesara Panchmukhi Temple, Gautam Buddha Nagar district on May 23.
Visuals showed how the man was rescued from the drain and after rescue, he was interviewed about his name, the place where he comes from and how he fell into the drain to which he replied his name was Anwar and because he was so drunk he doesn’t remember much about how he actually fell into the drain.
Upon arriving at the scene, the police found that the drain pipe was approximately 30 feet long and located beneath the road, with fast-flowing water inside.
The Ecotech-3 police acted swiftly, working hard with the help of local residents to rescue the man from the drain. They successfully extricated him and saved his life. The local community praised the police team for their commendable effort.
