In a remarkable act of compassion, Vikas Tomar, a police officer stationed at the Chhatari police station in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh, saved a monkey’s life by administering CPR.

The incident took place in Bulandshahr on May 24 around 17:00 hrs.

Visuals showed how the officer was pressing the monkey’s chest to bring it back to life. The monkey had collapsed and become unconscious due to extreme heat. Officer Tomar noticed the distressed animal and immediately responded with cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), successfully reviving it.
