In a significant crackdown on illegal alcohol production, police in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh, destroyed 10,000 liters of illicit liquor.

The incident took place in Hapur on May 31.

Visuals showed how the bulldozer was used to breakdown the glass bottles of alcohols. The operation, carried out on Wednesday, targeted several locations known for illegal distillation and sale of unregulated alcoholic beverages.

The action involved the use of bulldozers to demolish storage facilities and distillation equipment. Authorities highlighted the health risks associated with consuming unregulated alcohol, which often contains dangerous impurities.
