Pipeline burst raises concerns among locals in southern India

In a recent incident in Karnataka, southern India, a pipeline burst has caused alarm among residents amidst the ongoing monsoon.

The incident took place in Koppa, Kushalnagar, Coorg district, and the video went viral on July 18.

Visuals captured the pipeline bursting, unleashing a powerful surge of water. Distressed locals gathered around the scene, witnessing the dramatic surge with concern.

The India Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for south interior Karnataka, warning of continued heavy rains. The persistent rainfall has created a chilly atmosphere, leading to reduced movement of people. As a precaution, all schools, colleges, and Anganwadis have been closed for the past two days due to the incessant rains and forecasts of more to come.
