The incident took place in Jungle Jamboree restaurant in Rajouri Garden of New Delhi district in Delhi, northern India on December 9.

The footage also captures the chaos and urgency of the situation, with some escaping through windows and emergency exits. Thick black smoke billowed from the windows, highlighting the intensity of the fire, while locals and passers-by watched the scene in distress.
According to reports, the massive fire endangered the lives of 50 students and faculty members. The fire broke out around 2:00 pm, and the fire department received the emergency call at 2:01 pm. Three individuals—students and faculty—suffered fractures while escaping and are currently receiving treatment. The group was attending a Management and Accounting Class (MAC) in an adjacent building when the flames erupted.
Authorities have cordoned off the area and launched an investigation into the cause of the fire. No fatalities have been reported, but the incident has raised concerns about fire safety standards in the area. The investigation is ongoing, though fire officers arrived promptly and managed to control the blaze.
