Passenger struggling to exit overcrowded local train in western India

The incident took place at Dadar station in Mumbai city and the video went viral on August 6.
Visuals showed the passenger struggling to make his way out of the first-class coach, only to fall onto the platform after battling through the throng of people.
According to reports the train arrived at the station, people on the platform rushed to board, creating a chaotic scene and hindering those attempting to exit. The man, identified by netizens as possibly a non-Mumbaikar and even speculated to be a South African, was seen pushing and shoving to clear a path for himself. Despite his efforts, he fell onto the platform amidst the rain and rush, with no one coming to his aid.
