A concerning incident took place in southern India’s Andhra Pradesh where parents were horrified to find worms from a packet of biscuit.

The incident took place in Adoni of Kurnool district and the video went viral on June 25.

Visuals showed the worrying site of live worms coming out from the biscuits.  As the packet is torn open, worms crawl out, revealing the contaminated contents. The video showed visuals of the biscuits being scattered on a table while the worms were crawling over the biscuits.

According to reports, the parent intended to offer the biscuits to his children when he noticed the issue and grew concerned. He insisted that immediate action should be taken in response.

Reportedly, Manoj Kumar, the father who purchased the packet of biscuits for his children, opted for the packet from a prominent company. He was worried about the violation of food safety and regulation policy and has demanded for an action to be taken in this matter.
