Chaos erupted in a hotel of western India’s Maharashtra after a snake was sighted on a customer’s feet.

The incident took place at a hotel in DP Road in Pune and the video went viral on June 27.

Visuals captured the panic that erupted in the hotel after a snake was sighted. Guests were seen evacuating their tables and moving to safer spots. The snake was shown crawling under a table and then slowly slithering around others.

According to reports, a five-foot snake unexpectedly dropped from a man’s feet while his family was dining at a hotel along the renowned location. The incident left all diners in a state of shock giving rise to panic and distress. Reportedly, the hotel staff captured the snake and released it into a nearby riverbed, which has risen due to heavy rains, causing the situation.
