Panic erupts in moving train in western India as stones hit coach
In a recent incident in western India’s Maharashtra, panic surged in moving train
The incident took place on the Bhusawal Nandurbar train in the Jalgaon district on July 12.
Visuals showed a large gathering outside the train, with some passengers in the coach panicking after a few stones landed inside. A woman speaking in Marathi can be heard urging all passengers to close the coach’s windows as a protective measure, even as the train continues moving.

According to officials, Vineet Abhishek, the chief public relations officer of Western Railway, stated that a large number of people traveled from Bhusawal to Bhortek on Friday morning to attend a religious event. RPF personnel were also present on the train.

After a viral video alleged stone pelting on the same train, the RPF filed a complaint against unidentified individuals.

Senior police officers from Marwad police station, where the incident was reportedly supposed to have taken place, have denied any such occurrence so far. Police officials said they are conducting their investigation into the alleged incident.
