Northern India tragedy: two-day rescue mission for 13-year-old in well concludes

Tragedy struck in northern India’s Rajasthan, as a 13-year-old boy fell into a well on May 31st.

The incident took place in Chhapali village of Rajsamand on May 31 and continued for two days ending on June 3.

Visuals showed how much manpower was involved to bring out the teenager from the well. The crowd looked dead worried and the authorities worked tirelessly for two days to make the rescue.

It was a relentless rescue operation spanning two days. Initially led by the Rajmand Civil Defense Team and SDRF, the efforts intensified today with the intervention of NDRF.

However, despite the tireless efforts of the rescue teams, the operation ended in sorrow as the lifeless body of the boy was recovered from the well today. The tragic incident has left the community in mourning, underscoring the dangers posed by open wells and the importance of swift emergency response measures.
