Newslions is hiring video research and acquisitions specialist from South East Asia
The incumbent will be tasked with identifying trending content, dig-deep to get the contact of the rightful owner of the content, explain to them the benefits of licensing videos through Newslions Media Network and help expand our video library. The incumbent will be the face of Newslions, responsible for effectively communicating what we do, how we protect our partner’s content and the details of our licensing agreement.
You will collaborate with the team in India to make sure that the licensed videos get picked up by our clients and become viral worldwide in quick time.
While people from many backgrounds can excel in this position, confidence, communication skills and a tenacious self-starter attitude are key. Additionally, experience with, and a passion for, social platforms, including TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Reddit, Twitter, and Instagram are important. The candidate should have a love for subreddits or community sites with a focus on viral videos and Gifs.
Responsibilities and Objectives:
The research and acquisitions specialist is Newslions’ greatest champion and most active salesperson. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Frontline brand champion, expressing the core values of Newslions Media Network, including trust, service, and creativity
Working with the team in India to identify and acquire trending videos
Negotiating contract terms
Managing individual tasks with minimal supervision
Following videos through to completion of all onboarding steps
Develop and maintain strong client relationships
Communicating all necessary information to the team
Qualifications:
Minimum of two years experience in a related media field will be preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated team player
Speaks English and at least one other vernacular language preferred
Creative mind looking to make an immediate impact
Open to any qualified candidate globally.
