An 18-year-old teenager girl was rescued by the fellow passengers after she slipped from the footboard of a high speed moving train in maharashtra India
An 18-year-old unidentified girl was saved by the fellow passengers after she slipped from the footboard of a local train running at a speed of 80 mph in Mumbai, Maharashtra in India.
In the brief footage, a few passengers can be seen standing near the gate of the train that is already moving at a speed of 80 mph.
A teenage girl can also be seen standing near the edge of the gate as the train is in full motion at a fierce speed.
It was just a few moments later that the girl bends to look out for something and her feet slips off the footboard. One of the passengers who were already aware of a probable accident was in a watch.
As soon as the girl slipped from the footboard she is caught by the aware passenger. She can be seen dangling in the air as the passenger holds her hand and her clothes.
The other passengers nearby who see her in the condition rush immediately and catches hold of her and brings back on board.
One of the passengers Mahesh Mahatre said, “This is not the first time I have seen such an accident. The young boys and girls mostly travel on footboards and many such accidents and death have happened in the past, but they won’t take a lesson.”
In India, it is quite common to find young people travelling on the train footboards risking their lives in order to get a feeling of the cold breeze that sweeps through them while the train is at a full speed.
Many deaths have been reported in the past due to people travelling on the train footboards.
Mumbai local trains are famous for antisocial activities by young men who take to train surfing while risking their own life and others while performing such stunts.
