Narrow escape for rider as speeding train runs over motorcycle at level crossing in eastern India

by ShravyaA biker escaped a massive accident while he was trying to cross a railway track on his bike in eastern India’s Odisha.
The incident happened in the Baleshwar district on April 29.
Visuals showed the biker trying to cross the railway track despite the crossing being shut. The man first approached the track and his bike got stuck when he decided to go back. He got down from his bike and tried to pull it out of the tracks but it was too late as a speeding train crushed the two-wheeler into pieces. The man ran and saved himself from a major tragedy though.
As per reports, the Basta railway crossing collapsed as a train was traversing the up track. Janak, accompanied by a young man, was crossing the gate at that moment. Simultaneously, the barrier descended on the tracks. Observing a cart approaching, the young man abandoned his cart and hurried ahead. Consequently, the young man narrowly avoided a fatal accident as the train crushed the vehicle.
