Multiple fire incidents ravage shops, houses in northern India

A series of devastating fire incidents struck in northern India’s Jammu and Kashmir, gutting several shops and damaging a residential house.

The incident took place at Dawar and Gujran village in Tulail, Gurez valley in  Bandipora district in north Kashmir on October 13.

Visuals showed chaos erupted after a devastating fire engulfed a house and several shops. The flames were intense, soaring high and spreading rapidly. People present at the scene scrambled to douse the fire, desperately trying to control it using water, but the blaze continued to rage fiercely, lighting up the surroundings with its terrifying heat and glow.

According to reports, Firefighters, local police, and residents quickly responded to the situation, working together to bring the flames under control. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined.

Earlier in the evening, a residential house in Gujran village, Tulail, was damaged in a separate fire incident. Although the fires caused significant damage, there were no immediate reports of casualties. The authorities are investigating the causes of both incidents and assessing the total damage.
