Motorcyclist injured in collision caused by fighting cows in southern India

by Ekta ChaubeyA 58-year-old man tragically lost his life after falling from his motorcycle due to a collision between two cows on a road in southern India’s Tamil Nadu.
The incident took place in the Thirunelveli district on June 22.
Visuals showed that the two cows suddenly started fighting, leading to a collision with the motorcycle and causing the man to be thrown onto the road. At the same time, a government-operated bus approaching from the opposite direction struck him. The bus driver and bystanders rushed to the motionless man lying on the road.According to reports, the victim, identified as Velayudharaj, was employed at a magistrate’s court and was commuting to work on his motorcycle. Upon receiving the report, a team from the Traffic Investigation Wing of the Tirunelveli city police promptly arrived at the scene. They recovered the body and transported it to Palayamkottai Government Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
