Monkeys’ creepy attack on woman leaves residents in panic

The incident took place in Ajmer district of Rajasthan, northern India on April 15, however the video is going viral again.
Visuals show a woman seated on a chair in her verandah when two monkeys suddenly leap from the railing behind her, grabbing at her hair. Startled and distressed, the woman attempts to protect herself, but the monkeys persist. As she stands up in a bid to escape, another man rushes in and manages to scare the monkeys away.
According to reports, Rekha Kataria (60), a resident of Nakoda Colony, was working in the verandah of her home when a monkey suddenly appeared from behind and yanked her hair. As she screamed, the first monkey fled, but a second one started pulling her hair. Fortunately, her husband, SP Kataria, rushed to the verandah and managed to chase the monkeys away.
The terror caused by the monkeys has left residents furious. Locals from the colony shared that the monkeys are a constant menace, roaming the area day and night. They enter homes, attack people, and wreak havoc by destroying items on rooftops and verandas. The monkeys are also known to snatch belongings from children and the elderly. Despite multiple complaints to the Municipal Corporation, both written and through the portal, no action has been taken to capture the monkeys.
