Miscreants attacked shopkeeper, after refusing festival donation in eastern India
In a recent incident in eastern India’s Jharkhand, two youths assaulted shopkeeper and servant after refusing festival donations.
 

The incident took place at Sankat Mochan Mahaveer Mandir on main road in Ranchi district on July 15.

Visuals showed two youths in a shop conversing with the shopkeeper. Moments later, they were seen assaulting both the shopkeeper and the servant.
 
According to reports, following the beating incident, shopkeeper Rinku Das filed a complaint at the Lower Bazar police station. He stated that on July 15, two unidentified individuals came to his shop demanding donations for Muharram. When he declined, the men began using abusive language. When his son, who was in the shop, objected to the swearing, the youths attacked his son and an employee with a rod, injuring both. After the complaint was lodged, the police arrested the two accused.
