A young man miraculously escaped unharmed after a bus collided with him while he was waiting at a bus stand.

The incident occurred at the Kattappana Bus Station in Idukki district, Kerala, on November 1.

Visual shows, the young man is seen sitting on a seat at the bus stand, where buses typically stop. Although the nearby seats were empty, other passengers were seated behind him. While the man was looking at his mobile phone, a bus, arriving at the stand, lost control and slammed into him. The impact caused him to tip backward in his seat, and the bus then reversed. Nearby passengers quickly caught him and lifted him up.

Speaking to Newslions the Circle Inspector, Kattapanna Police Station stated that the victim identified as Vishnu, a resident of Kumali, was waiting for the bus at the private bus stand when the accident occurred. Vishnu sustained a knee injury, but it was not serious. Passengers and locals rushed him to a nearby private hospital, where he received first aid.

The bus involved, a Diamol bus operating on the Kattappana-Nedunkandam route, caused the accident due to a technical issue.
