In a miraculous incident in central India’s Madhya Pradesh, a goddess was seen riding a lion with weapons in hand and the incident was captured on a CCTV camera.

The event occurred near Bhopal Tiraha in the Tola Pathar area of Rahatgarh, Sagar district on July 27.

Visuals showed the apparition of the goddess, leaving the local residents astonished. They were seen describing the incident in absolute shock after witnessing the miraculous sight. Children were seen rushing towards the temple, bowing to the idol, and seeking blessings after the event.

 

According to reports, Bhagwati Kushwaha, who noticed the image on her home CCTV display, immediately alerted her family, who confirmed the sighting by reviewing the footage.

Locals stated that the area is home to an ancient temple of Jwala Devi, revered for its historical and spiritual significance. On July 27 at 6:35 PM, peculiar changes were observed around the temple—leaves changed color, and a fog enveloped the area. Moments later, a 30-foot tall figure of Durga Maa appeared, dressed in red and seated on a lion, with weapons. The manifestation lasted for about two and a half minutes before fading away.

 

Bhagwati Kushwaha, a devout worshipper, recounted that the goddess has appeared to her in dreams before, often providing reassurance. This extraordinary event has prompted the villagers to plan religious ceremonies, including bhajans, kirtans, and yajnas. Currently, the temple is hosting prayers and Ramayana recitations.
