According to reports, the stunning event spread quickly on social media, prompting more visitors to head to the beaches. Rajya Sabha MP and former Union Minister Anbumani Ramadoss was one of the first to share the magical experience online, describing the waves as “mesmerising fluorescent.” His post received over 24,000 views, with others sharing their own excitement. One person recalled witnessing the moment with their friends and pet at Palavakkam Beach, describing it as unforgettable. Locals described the experience as “magical” and “breathtaking,” with many marveling at the natural beauty.
