In a major development in Jammu and Kashmir, massive protests erupted after the death of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in an Israeli airstrike.

The incident took place in Srinagar city on September 28

Visuals showed angry crowds flooding the streets in the late hours of the day, expressing their fury over the killing of the terrorist. Protesters were seen running around and chanting slogans in distress as the situation intensified.

According to reports, demonstrations also broke out in Budgam, where protesters, including women and children, carried portraits of the Hezbollah leader. Similar protests were witnessed across the region, particularly in Srinagar’s old city, after Israel officially confirmed the 64-year-old terrorist’s death in Beirut, Lebanon.

The airstrike that killed the Iran-backed Hezbollah chief occurred on Friday, dealing a major blow to the group engaged in armed conflict with Israel. Both Israel and Hezbollah confirmed his death following the attack on the group’s headquarters.
