A severe fire broke out at a hospital in northern India’s Delhi, prompting an immediate response from the Delhi Fire Brigade, which dispatched 16 fire engines to the scene.

 

The incident took place at I-7 Hospital in Lajpat Nagar in Delhi on June 5.

Visuals showed a fierce fire was raging in a hospital, with flames shooting high and thick black smoke billowing out in massive clouds. Outside the hospital, a crowd of people had gathered, and there was a chaotic scene with people running around in panic.

 

According to the reports upon receiving the distress call, the Delhi Fire Brigade swiftly mobilized, deploying approximately 16 fire engines to the site. The scale and intensity of the blaze required a significant firefighting effort to bring it under control.

 

Eyewitnesses reported a chaotic scene as hospital staff and patients evacuated the premises to ensure their safety. The swift response from the fire brigade was crucial in preventing further escalation of the situation.
