by Surya PrakashA massive fire broke out at a thermal power station in southern India’s Telangana.
This incident took place in Ramagundam, Telangana on October 25.
Visuals showed the horrifying scenes at the power station which was engulfed by the flames. The fire consumed the whole structure and it didn’t show any signs of stopping.
According to a report, the cause of the fire is said to be a short circuit at the turbine and boiler centre. However, the fire was put to an end by officials. The power generation stopped as a result of this accident. No casualties were reported although the damage that occurred due to this was huge. It was learnt that this incident is being investigated into by the authorities.
